In 2016 AMAGGI internally consolidated the scope of Global Positioning for Sustainability, with a Sustainability Plan with Vision up to 2025, divided into strategic blocks that embody the four business areas of the company, as well as the André e Lucia Maggi Foundation.
As a way of combating illegal deforestation and encouraging sustainable agriculture, in 2016 AMAGGI made a major investment in the acquisition of a management and monitoring platform for its grain chain, known as ORIGINAR - Responsible AMAGGI Origination Platform.
After 2,5 years of work, the company finalized the implementation of a system that brings greater elucidation and control to the currency exposures arising from its regular commercial practice, besides allowing identifying good opportunities for optimization of processes and costs.
