Forbes Brazil: AMAGGI Director stands out among the Women of Agro
AMAGGI’s ESG, Communication and Compliance Director, Juliana de Lavor Lopes, was named by Forbes Brazil magazine among the 100 Powerful Women of Agro in the country. Released on the 15th, the Forbes List – 100 Powerful Women of Agro – covers a wide variety of activities related to agriculture in Brazil – from digital influencers to rural producers, as well as executives, researchers, consultants, among others who have promoted changes in the field and in cities, contributing to elevating Brazilian agriculture to a level of excellence.
The publication recalls that Juliana joined the company in a “movement for the company’s transformation and transparency, mainly with regards to the socio-environmental agendas.” In fact, circa 15 years ago, Juliana implemented the then Sustainability Management at AMAGGI, which later gained directorship status and later incorporated the Communications and Compliance areas; currently designated the ESG, Communications and Compliance Board.
Juliana Lopes has a degree in International Relations from Estácio de Sá University, MBE (Master Business Economics) in Social Responsibility and Third Sector from UFRJ, MBA in Corporate Communications from UNESA/RJ, extension in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Berkeley, California, and extension in Leadership and Learning for Sustainability, by the Society for Organizational Learning, founded by Peter Senge.
