Project
B100
A bold, pioneering, innovative, and sustainable initiative. AMAGGI invests in the production and use of pure biodiesel (B100) in trucks, agricultural machinery, and vessels as a replacement for fossil fuels. Made from soybeans, biodiesel reduces CO2 emissions by approximately 99% compared to diesel, according to the GHG Protocol. This represents a business strategy and a viable alternative for combating climate change and pursuing a more sustainable world.
Focus on 2050 Decarbonization Goals
AMAGGI has set ESG goals to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. To reach this target, it will invest in decarbonization strategies and the neutralization of residual emissions, if necessary, by 2035. These strategies include transitioning to more sustainable energy sources, such as biodiesel, and adopting low-carbon, regenerative agriculture practices that protect biodiversity.
Discover Our B100 Factory
Biodiesel production takes place at our plant in Lucas do Rio Verde, Mato Grosso, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and advanced technology. The raw material for the biofuel, degummed soybean oil, is sourced from the soybean crushing facility adjacent to the factory. The plant spans 26,000 m² of built area and has an annual production capacity of 330,000 m³ of biodiesel.
Operations began in 2022.
At AMAGGI, biodiesel is used in agricultural machinery, trucks, and vessels.
Decarbonizing operations is already a reality at AMAGGI.
